Northern Ireland is celebrating: from midnight tonight abortion and equal marriage will no longer be criminal acts.
Elections take place in Canada.
If approved by Parliament, a new draft regulation that passed today will allow Ministers to remove the rights of EU, EEA, Swiss and Turkish nationals to own and manage companies or to provide services in the UK on the same basis as UK nationals. In case this regulation applies to me it will literally pull the rug from under my artist feet and end my life as an artist in the UK.
This draft regulation was decided on in a small committee of 9 Tory MPs.
